Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a degree of as a cum laude theatre and Communication. When she moved from Missouri to Los Angeles in 2004, she became involved in the theatre arts. This included acting as well as directing in over 20 musicals. The productions included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan as part of The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly was able to land films and TV roles when she studied improvisation and became an Theatre West company member. Kelly's distinctive voice and petite dimensions have let her play a variety of character types. She was known to the public for taking on the part of the vile Samara as Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. However her most well-known role is as the cheerful and bright receptionist who worked at Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the role of the paralegal as well as a party animal on TV the show Land's The Exes as a Series regular from 2011-2015. Alyssa Mio's smart sexpert little sister was Kelly's regular character in ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW was her show as an exhausted suburban mom. Her soprano voice has been lent by her singing voice to a variety of cartoons like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recently, she appeared in NBC's smash comedy Superstore as the dim but lovable Cloud 9 worker. She lives a quiet life which is quiet having two kids younger than five years old. She enjoys sewing and writes and is a volunteer in various school activities.
